■ Improved psychotherapy, rational emotive behavior therapy, and family functions for both children and parents
■ Financial aid for education expenses of children from vulnerable social groups, purchases of welfare facility vehicles, etc.


LS C&S announced on August 8 that the company will donate 100 million won to vulnerable social groups in Donghae City, including victims of child abuse, through the Community Chest of Korea.

LS C&S Donghae Factory Manager Sang-cheol Yeo, Mayor of Donghae City Kyu-eon Sim, and Director of Gangwon Southern Child Protection Agency Byeong-ki Park were among the attendees present at the donation ceremony held at Donghae City Hall on August 8.
 
LS C&S will continue its efforts from last year by sponsoring ‘Sharing of Love,’ a family aid project for victims of child abuse in partnership with LS C&S, with the Gangwon Southern Child Protection Agency. This project aims to promote emotional stability and improve family function for victims of child abuse.

This project will provide art therapy and psychotherapy to child victims and parents along with other programs to minimize the trauma of child abuse and prevent recurrence.
 
In addition, LS C&S will provide financial aid to cover the education expenses of children from vulnerable social groups and vehicle purchases for welfare facilities. 

LS C&S established a relationship with Donghae City in Gangwon-do Province by building a submarine cable factory back in 2009 and has made continuous aid efforts for vulnerable social groups in the city since then.
