LS Cable & System announced on December 18 that the company’s newsletter ‘Open Mind’ had won the Planning Award for Printed Company Newsletters at the Korea Communication Awards 2023 hosted by Korea Business Communicators Association.

‘Open Mind’ was highly praised for its activities to improve understanding and emotional connection by simplifying the management philosophies and business strategies of the company for employees and executives, introducing communication activities between employees and executives, and providing information on the company’s global business establishments.
 
In particular, this year’s annual special topic of ‘Paradigm Shift – Cable UP’ focused on the company’s promotion of eco-friendly business, quality improvement, and business innovation activities such as digital transition (DT) for greater growth.
 
LS Cable & System has been producing the company newsletter every month for approximately 50 years, since 1975, and has published 577 volumes in total as of this month.
 
An LS Cable & System spokesperson stated, “We will continue to strive for our company newsletter to remain an ‘open channel’ where our employees and executives can share their experiences and gain a sense of camaraderie.”

The Korea Communication Awards is hosted by Korea Business Communicators Association and sponsored by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Ministry of Employment and Labor, and other institutions every year, and outstanding work is selected and awarded from among promotional materials published by companies, associations, national institutions, etc.
